welcome to yet another personal neocities site
i made this site kinda for the hell of it. i’m too young to have any honest nostalgia for the geocities era of internet history, and i don’t personally see neocities as a replacement for/alternative to social media the way some do simply because i have no social media to replace — i’ve never really been active on anything but tumblr, where i almost never make posts of my own. (if you’re interested in that, replace “neocities.org” in your address bar with “tumblr.com” and hit enter.)
my hope is that making this site will push me to create rather than passively consume. once i’m settled in, this will probably be a pretty standard personal blog. ultimately i plan to share art and writing here as well.
i have no coding experience beyond the basic html i picked up from tweaking premade tumblr themes as a teenager. i’m forcing myself to learn as i go; i.e., what you see here is the result of me dicking around with code i half-understand until things seem to work.
i wouldn’t call this site 18+, but it is definitely not intended for children. i use profanity very liberally, and i doubt the content i share or topics i touch on will be 100% family-friendly. if you’re in high school, you’re probably better off here than on tiktok; if you’re younger, you should go play minecraft with your friends or something instead.
this page is severely under construction.
